The Right of Ownership for Information and Legal Protection of Databases

The article is focused on certain aspects of ownership of information and problematic issues of legal protection of databases. In particular, approaches to the legal regulation of databases protection set in certain normative acts adopted by Ukraine and the European Union are considered. The necessity of adaptation modern domestic legal base relates to the issues of protection database as objects of copyright and intellectual property components, to the newest international standards of legal regulation in this area is substantiated.
