Abstract

The article deals with the pedagogical technologies, which are used during the study of the informative disciplines of future teachers and the peculiarities of the use of free software in the higher educational institution. The theoretical substantiation of the need for the introduction of free software in the educational process of higher educational institutions is given. The possibilities of free software for increasing the efficiency of the process of computer training are considered.
