Abstract
In 1918–1920 Armenia-Russia relations were uncertain. The strategic aspect of the Armenian government is to create friendly relations and ensure the necessary terms of military-political relations with all Russian authorities. The priority among the state-formations established in Russia including A. Denikin's Volunteering Army was the issue of restoring and maintaining the unity and integrity of the country from the perspective of a long-term strategy. Accordingly, they were consistent in the policy pursued in Transcaucasia, making every effort not only to withdraw Great Britain and other Antantian powers from the region, but also to settle there, and it is evident from today's foreign policy programs and military-political steps in Russia
