Abstract

This study investigated the nature of relationships between job satisfaction,organisational commitment and turnover intention among the employees working in the construction sector.A total of 105 questionnaires had been collected from the employees of construction industry in TelanganaDistricts.Seven hypothesis were examined using the pearson correlation coefficient,Multiple regression analysis, anova ,chi-square and results showed that there is a positive relationship between the job satisfaction and organisational commitment as well as job satisfaction and continuance as well as normative commitment.Also,the dimensions of job satisfaction such as satisfaction with recognition, satisfaction with work, satisfaction with job security, satisfaction with promotion are having a significant relationship with the organisational commitment.There is also relationship between overall experience of employees and monthly income as well as no relationship between years of association and the three factors.
