Abstract

It is shown that in order to solve the problem of estimating the economic consequences of anthropogenic pollution of water objects, the most appropriate methodological approach is used in calculating the losses caused to the fish farming due to the reduction of the natural forage base for the ichthyofauna, ie the criterion for reducing fish productivity. The water quality study of the Murom reservoir was carried out in the summer of 2018. For the ecological and toxicological assessment of the status of the Murom reservoir, seven sections were selected. Chronic toxicity was detected in samples of water from five layers. Damage caused by the Murom reservoir on the indicator of the reduction of catches of fish with a shortage of natural forages – zooplankton (N1) is 544 kg, zoobenthos (N2) – 1 224 kg. The volume of monetary losses inflicted on the Murom reservoir on the indicator of the reduction of catches of five species of fish (gossip, carp, crucian carp, red carp, wool) due to a shortage of natural forages is 61 880 UAH.
