PRODUCTIVITY OF BIRDSFOOT DEER VETCH SEEDS AT DIFFERENT SEEDING METHODS AND RATES OF SEEDING IN TERMS OF INUNDATION MEADOWS OF THE IRTYSH RIVER

Different seeding methods and rates of seeding of high-protein birdsfoot deer vetch on the bottom-land meadow with short-term flooding of the Irtysh River of the Pavlodar region are investigated. The researchers showed that the rate of seeding is of great importance for seed birdsfoot deer vetch. At usual seeding methods and average rates of seeding, at forming of engrained into natural plant stand of birdsfoot deer vetch of more or less close solid cover by leaves and its shade of rough meadow could become not less, and probable even more important factor in competition water, than at wide-row planting with less rate of seeding.
