PERSONAL-ORIENTED PROFESSIONAL COUNCELING OF ADULTS: EXPERIENCE OF THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC

The article presents the result of the analysis of adult education forms in the Slovak Republic. An effective tool for adult education is identified – personalized professional counseling, which serves as a key component of the Strategy for Education throughout life. Focusing on an adult as a subject of an educational process means personalized-oriented professional counseling as andragogic. The ultimate goal of this counseling is to address adult inquiries about education, career choices and career development at any stage of life. The provider of this process is a professionally competent adult education specialist – andragogue
