Abstract

Memoir is an important and original style for narrating the events of the war to future generations, and for recording and transferring the bitter and sweet experiences of previous generations and the current generation to next generations, in which the women of different Iranian ethnic groups have had a special status. The war memoir movement in Iran is one of the most widespread cultural events. From the earliest days of Popular Resistance, stories and memories have been devoted to the narrative of events with the means of differentiation and sharing. The steady presence of women in the war, especially in the contemporary battles, is one of the most important areas for their firm appearance. In the literature on resistance, Bibi Maryam, Masoumeh Abad, and Zahra Hosseini have had a direct connection in defiance and courage. By writing a memoir, all three have expressed their deep understanding of the community in a creative way, and in describing the liberal heroism, they devised their memoirs by deepening their thoughts and explaining the scenes before victory in the war and their patient resistance to the pressure from the Ba'ath regime on themselves and their families. This research has fully demonstrated themes and concepts such as struggle, politics, society, humanity, patriotism, heroism, freedom, and endurance against enemies. By expressing similarities and dissimilarities, the current research presents the evidence of the facts in the time period of each writer.
