STUDENTS SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE “FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL RESEARCH COMPETENCE IN FUTURE CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGISTS”

Abstract

The student scientific and practical conference “Formation of professional research competence in future clinical psychologists” was held on 13th of June 2019 at the Department of General and Special Psychology with a course Pedagogical at the Ryazan State Medical University named after academician I.P. Pavlov. The purpose of this annual event is to summarize the results of the research work of the 3rd year students of the Faculty of Clinical Psychology, to present and to defend their term papers. Ninety two people were registered yo participate in the conference. The vice-rector for scientific work and innovative development, doctor of medical sciences, professor Igor Alexandrovich Suchkov and dean of the faculty of clinical psychology, PhD (Psychology), associate professor N.V. Yakovleva. On the same day, three sections of the conference began their work, where 32 students presented their works. Research topics were very diverse. The commission of the section No. 1 was represented by PhD (Psychology), associate professor M.N. Kotlyarova, PhD (Pedagogics), associate professor I.V. Motorina, senior lecturer M.I. Razzhivina. The works of the following students were recognized as the best reports at the section No. 1: “Research on the aitude to loneliness in elderly people in relation to gerotranscendence indicators” by A.A. Beketova (research supervisor – L.N. Karashchuk), “The study of the relationship of self-esteem in children with mental retardation with the aitude of parents to their diseases” by E.A. Trushina (research supervisor – M.I. Razzhivina), “The influence of emotional states on productivity in work activity” by U.A. Yakshina (research supervisor – M.N. Kotlyarova). The commission for section No. 2 included PhD (Psychology), senior lecturer A.G. Faustova, senior lecturer L.N. Karashchuk, senior lecturer N.N. Ulanova. The best reports at the section No. 2 were scientific research by I.S. Vinogradova “Research on the peculiarities of self-relationship in women with alopecia associated with chemotherapy” (research supervisor – A.G. Faustova); by T.I. Leonova “Correlation of value orientations, self-relationship, and life satisfaction among students engaged and not engaged in volunteer activities” (research supervisor – A.M. Lesin); by O.O. Trusova “The study of the temporal perspective in patients with intestinal stoma” (research supervisor – M.N. Kotlyarova). The best reports at the section No. 3, the jury of which was PhD (Psychology), senior lecturer V.V. Yakovlev, PhD (Psychology), lecturer A.M. Lesin, and lecturer I.M. Shishkova, steel: “A Comparative study of the phenomenon of trust in primary school children studying in schools of general education and boarding schools” by A.N. Sofrina (research supervisor – L.N. Karashchuk), “Determining the features of coping strategies in young people with high and low levels of social anxiety” by O.V. Germanova (research supervisor – V.V. Yakovlev), “A study of the relationship between the characteristics of the subjective idea of parent-child relationships and value orientations in adolescents” by Konopkina V.D. (research supervisor – L.N. Karashchuk). At the close of the conference, the head of the Department of General and Special Psychology with a course of Pedagogics N.V. Yakovleva thanked the participants for the presentations and productive work and once again emphasized the importance of carrying out research work for the future professional activities in future clinical psychologists.
