Abstract

The article continues the authors' research devoted to the working out a new mechanism to calculate the probability for fire emergency evacuation of residents from structures with numerous free spaces (the atrium), based on the accounting of probabilistic nature of the processes of fire evacuation and the spread of combustion products. Baseline data include blocks of deterministic and probabilistic data. Deterministic data include space-planning characteristics of the object, as well as the number of statistical tests. The authors have proposed the list of factors considered as random, and the mechanism of their collection and processing, based on the usage of the known elements of the theory of probability (choice of the law of distribution of each factor, the definition of the parameters of the adopted law). The developed method can be applied to conduct scientific researches, calculations, as well as its further improvement.
