A RARE CASE OF KLEINE-LEVIN SYNDROME

Kleine-Levin syndrome (KLS) is known for more than a century, with defined clinical features, but no clear cause or treatment. Diagnosis is exclusively clinical and no systematic studies on treatment available. Lithium has some promises in treating KLS and it is a benign self limiting syndrome. Here we present a case of Kleine-Levin syndrome who was diagnosed initially as atypical depression and treated later with Lithium.
