Accuracy of the interpretation approaches of "effect" and "efficiency" for solving of the regional economic capability evaluation tasks

The paper considers the possibility of applying different interpretations of “effect” and “efficiency” categories to solve the problems about using the regional economic capability. The specific enterprise indicators and figures of economic capability approaches are not informative for assessment of regional scale objects economic efficiency. All interpretations of the terms "effect" and "efficiency" have been systematized as part of the program to improve this terminological cluster by redefining and defining termino- logy. Three indicators on base the X-efficiency concept have been proposed for addressing the regional economic capability assessment tasks.
