Participation in prosocial activities as a component of the development of social activity of future socionomy specialists

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of participation in prosocial activities of future specialists of socionomic professions in the educational environment and modelling of pedagogical support for the development of the social activity. It is revealed that the problem of participation, as a certain type of social activity, is being actively studied today in the context of theories aimed at researching the development of communities, volunteerism, social capital, social networks, social movements, civil society, democracy, quality of public services, sociology of everyday life, ethics of consumption, etc. The types and forms of socially oriented of future professionals are spread both in the educational environment and beyond, quite clearly characterize the degree of development of socialization skills and social activity, in particular, the skills of social participation as one of the important components of vital activity of modern man. The types of active participation of students in public life, which have the basis of certain social actions, including indirectly or directly related to the need to overcome barriers of socio-cultural life in this process are considered. The results of researches on the problem of overcoming barriers of socio-cultural life are analysed, the complex multifunctional structure and the detailed typology of reasons for their occurrence and complexity of overcoming are revealed. According to the results of the author's sociological-pedagogical study of social activity of future specialists of socionomic professions in the educational environment of four national HEIs, the most widespread types of social activity within the educational institution were identified, the most "forced" types of social activity, the most desirable, but not yet realized types of social activity. Based on the analysis of factors and motives for participation / non-participation in social activities or forced participation within the educational establishment, the necessity to develop the means of correcting personal motivation and raising the level of self-awareness of future specialists of their own states, actions, as well as understanding of the personality of these social influences by the contexts of influence and developing a model of pedagogical support for the development of the social activity of a specialist socionomic profession.
