Abstract
Department "Turbines, hydraulic machines and aircraft engines" SPBSTU, Gazprom transgaz Saint-Petersburg LLC and "STC "Microturbine technology" LLC jointly performed R&D to develop modern low speed turbo expander units with flow-through part of the design of LPI to solve the problem of power supply linear consumers of pipelines, design, production preparation, manufacture, construction and installation works, commissioning and verification of the results of design studies during operation at the current facility of the Russian GTS. The article presents and describes the main scientific and technical results, including the results of one-dimensional gas dynamic calculations, CFD calculations, strength calculations, and the results of verification of calculated and field data.
