Feminism and American Literature – An Analytical Study

This paper aims at revealing the facts of feminism in various fields. It concentrates on the idealogy of the women. It also focuses on gender equality and promotion of women's rights and issues. The purpose of this paper is to bring out the ideas of the origin of feminism which happened during 15thcentury. In order to show case the power of the women a rich variety of ideas have been discussed through-out this paper. It deals with the gender construction that undergoes a change in the outlook of individual, interpersonal relation-societal and psychological. It has mainly focused on the origin of feminism followed by various theories and different stages of its developments. The importance of education for women is also a focal point in this paper. Development of American women has been taken as center point of this paper. It will be definitely an eye opener for the younger generation to have further research on it.
