Abstract

Social media or social networking is a universal phenomenon. Social media basically refers to any technology that facilitates the dissemination and sharing of information over the Internet. The key purpose of using social media tools to engage others through electronic means, facilitate professional communication, improve student comprehension. enhance student networking, and enable collaboration with other students around the globe. Social media applications include Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google , which are popular among our students. Some social media tools are powerful drivers of change for teaching and learning practices.
