Abstract

The article analyzes the impact of the fourth industrial revolution on relations between the China and the United States in the field of high technologies. Today, the two powers are involved in serious systemic rival- ry and geopolitical competition, which are based not only on military-political and economic differences, but also on information technology. For China and the United States, achieving excellence in innovative industries is a national priority. Information technology, robotics, semiconductors and other high-tech technologies are be- coming multipliers of soft and hard power. The author argues that the United States is trying not to lose their global leadership and understand the competitive advantages of China during a period of profound changes in the balance of power in the world
