Abstract
Current technological advances have given greater volume and power to information with a clear need of much more efficient and safe storage system and bypassing human interference for the manipulation of large amounts of data. Block chain rises as a solution to this issue. The purpose of the present article is to describe in a comprehensive manner the recent advances in Block chain. Hence, the most relevant and recent work on the matter were analyzed. The results from this analysis show the scope of this technology which is increasingly more important nowadays. Finally, it can be stated that Block Chain is revolutionizing how information is stored regardless of its volume.
