Evaluation of the money supply situation in Algeria during the period (2000-2016)

This study aimed at highlighting the different factors that determine and influence Money Supply in Algeria during the period (2000-2016). The study applied the descriptive approach in order to tackle the different definition related to the money supply. In addition, it applied the analytical method to analyse the development the money supply during that period. In sum, the money supply in Algeria witnessed a hug growing which was basically related to the net inflow of the foreign assets of foreign currency came from high oil prices in world markets. Thus, it accounts for the link of the money supply to the oil levels of real activity in economy.
