PROPOSED UNIVERSITY RESEARCH MANAGEMENT DASHBOARD - HASSAN FIRST UNIVERSITY, SETTAT

This article talks about a project to set up a management dashboard, dedicated to monitoring the scientific research performance in Hassan First University in Morocco. The objective of setting up this dashboard is to allow university managers to have a scientific research performance overview, in real time, in order to make policy decisions of management to achieve the objectives set. This article first discusses the practices of the scientific research performance measuring in universities, discusses the dashboards use's importance in university for monitoring and evaluating this performance, and discusses certain difficulties and constraints that the implementation of this type of system may present. Finally, this article proposes a computer platform, making it possible to bypass the aforementioned constraints for the research dashboard's creation integrating scientific performance indicators.
