Abstract

This research paper has been made an attempt on Impact of CSR Activities of Corporate Companies on Different areas of Inclusive Growth. In order to be socially responsible, first, a company should be responsible to itself as well as to its shareholders. Often, companies that involve in CSR activities have grown their business to the point where they can give back to society. For large corporations, the CSR is primary business strategy. The CSR can take many forms depending on the company and industry. Through CSR programs, philanthropy and volunteer efforts, business organizations can benefit society while building image and boosting their own brands. In India, the CSR has started emerging as new concept and it has attracted the attention of not only corporates but also the attention of society on the whole. Its role on inclusive growth of a country is also important. So, in this scenario, the present study would be much significance in highlighting CSR role in determining the inclusive growth in the country. The present study would also be helpful in providing comprehensive understanding of the CSR adopted by the corporate companies in India. Sample size for the present study is fixed at 500 , The sampling technique used for selection of survey respondents from the beneficiary population is non-probability snowball sampling technique. This sampling technique is commonly used in social sciences when investigating hard-to-reach groups. The researcher has first identified one beneficiary group and after collecting the data from them, they are requested to nominate another beneficiary group known to them. So, the sample increases in size like a rolling snowball. Snowball sampling can be effective when a sampling frame is difficult to identify. To collect the data from the selected respondents, questionnaire instruments are used and the process of collecting data involves face to face interviews. Some of the statistical tools used for the study such as Descriptive Statistics, Cross tabulation Analysis and Chi-square Analysis, Reliability / Item Analysis, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Confirmatory Factor Analysis, Independent sample t-Test, One-way ANOVA, Discriminant Analysis, Canonical Correlation Analysis. In this research conclude that the corporate companies had been playing significant role through CSR activities towards inclusive growth in their areas
