THE ECONOMIC SUMMARY OF INSURANCE COMPANIES FINANCIAL SECURITY MECHANISM

In the condition of economic uncertainty, many insurance companies have difficulties with their lack of financial security. The article describes the essence of financial security of insurance companies, their role and place in the financial system of Ukraine. The authors propose, under the internal financial structure of insurance companies, to understand in their entirety a set of relatively separate and, at the same time, interrelated spheres and units whose functioning is subordinated to a single concept aimed at improving the financial security characteristics of insurance companies over a period of time of economic uncertainty. Have been analyzed and systematized external and internal factors influencing the level of financial security of insurance companies. Priority financial interests of insurance organizations to ensure the proper level of financial security are highlighted. The mechanism of financial security management is proposed, which is based on certain principles, methods and instruments of achieving the ultimate goal of the enterprise activity, namely — ensuring financial security in the long run as a basis for its sustainable development. It is established that the implementation of the mechanism of managing the economic security of an insurance company is carried out through a multifunctional complex of legal, information-analytical, financial-economic, organizational-managerial and social measures, the action of which is aimed at counteracting real and potential threats.
