Abstract

The specificity of food sphere enterprises' management processes necessitates the formation of special methodological basis for research, the object of which is cross-sectoral scientific research, and the subject is the methodology of interbranch scientific problems solving. Most of the modern publications on the enterprise management research methodology are limited by the logic of functioning and development of closed social and economic systems, which cannot be directly implemented to the multi-sectoral integrated natural and social and economic models which include food sphere. The «food sphere» covers all structures which activities are aimed at achieving the main goal of the population's food demand meeting. Food sphere structure according to the functional management consists of four sectors: industries which produce food raw material (agriculture and forestry, fisheries and hunting); industries which process food raw material into food products (food industry); industries which sell food products (wholesale and retail, food markets, corporate trade); industries which organize food products consumption (restaurants, social catering). Methodological approaches to the study of food sphere enterprises' management processes are systematized by decomposition of modern methodological approaches to scientific researches, such as general scientific, interdisciplinary and specific. The methodological basis for the classification features selection is the necessity to fulfill the requirement of applied complex solution and theoretical scientific problems in the study of complex social and economic processes in the food sphere enterprises' integrated management system. The study purpose is systematization the methodological approaches to the study of food businesses management processes in terms of interdisciplinary methodological approaches, which include: informational, strategic, spatial, situational, dynamic, logical, process, creative, active, reflective, intuitive, quantitative, normative, program-oriented approaches. The systematic set of theoretical interdisciplinary methodological approaches allows to reveal the specifics of the study of the food sphere phenomenon as an integrated natural-socio-economic system, and their combined use provides scientific validity of solving the problems of studying the food sphere enterprises' management processes.
