Abstract

The object of the study is youth, namely it's position in the labor market, which is undergoing significant transformations under the influence of technological and structural changes, global and demographic trends. Youth is the most important, most active resource of economic progress, the bearer of the intellectual potential of society and a source of replenishment of labor resources, but at the same time in Ukraine there is a growing trend of youth unemployment. In this context, the subject of the study is such an important aspect as social inclusion of young people, as well as the opposite state of this phenomenon — social exclusion as a result of long-term youth unemployment and needs special attention and detailed analysis. Countries where this problem is not solved lose the opportunity for sustainable development, social harmony and economic efficiency. To a large extent, young people have a level of mobility, intellectual activity and health that distinguishes them from other groups. Therefore, any society is faced with the question of its organic integration into the country's economy, socialize and include in a single socio-cultural space. For this each country is developing strategic measures to address youth unemployment. Ukraine is no exception to this process. Stable economic growth largely depends on the creation of conditions for the inclusion of young people in social production, on the formation of young people's labor values, on successful adaptation to new socio-economic processes. The article considers the essence, causes and consequences of the concept of social inclusion and social exclusion of youth as well. The threatening consequences of this situation are shown: losses of the country's GDP, social alienation, aggravation of socio-economic contradictions, growing uncertainty and instability of economic development. International support programs and measures to attract young people to the labor market are analyzed. The system of indicators for measuring and analyzing the of social exclusion and poverty conditions is characterized. Thanks to the proposed set of measures in the field of education, vocational training, social policy, will be possible to achieve stimulation of activation of Ukrainian youth to participate in public life.
