PROBLEMS IN ADMINISTRATION OF SOCIAL AND HEALTH INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION IN ALBANIA FOR THE YEARS 2014-2018

One of the main challenges of the social insurance system is the administration of contributions. In our point of view, this topic has not received proper attention from researchers in Albania. In this context, the main purpose of this paper is to reflect the problems that have emerged in the system of social insurance contributions and its income administration, which represent the main source in the pension retirement and health insurance contribution fund in the Republic of Albania. We will dwell upon the description of the social insurance system, offering an overview of the evolution of the system from the 90s, analyzing more concretely the years 2014-2018.
