Abstract
Andrew Marvell is one of the most distinguished representatives of the Metaphysical School. In his poem To His Coy Mistress, Marvell employs the literature skill of Defamiliarization to impress the readers, giving them a new reading experience. In terms of structure, he creates a structure that the time and space are inconsecutive to prolong the reading process of the readers.
