PROBLEMS OF USING MEDIATION IN RUSSIA

The article examines the formation of the institution of mediation, the prospects for its development in Russia, as well as topical problems associated with its functioning, application and further popularization. Ways to overcome them, recommendations for reforming legislation and improving the legal culture of citizens have been developed. The question of increasing the level of public confidence in the mediation procedure was raised, and alternative methods of resolution were proposed. The problem of professional training of mediators within the framework of our country in order to improve the quality of services for alternative settlement of disputes is considered.
