Abstract
The present study was aimed at exploring differences in gender and organizations with respect to job satisfaction. A sample of 80 participants was chosen, teaching secondary level students in government and private schools in Delhi-NCR. The age range of the participants was between 25- 35 year olds, with a teaching experience of 3-5 years. The Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire short form (MSQ, Weiss et al., 1967) was used to assess job satisfaction. Gender and organizational differences were computed using t test. The results of the present research indicate a significant difference with respect to organizational differences. No significant differences however, were obtained with respect to gender among the sample.
