Nanotechnology in Periodontics: A Review

Periodontal disease is one of the common disease which involved tooth and the supporting structures. Maintaining a sound periodontium is essential for improvement of quality of life of the patient that ultimately has its impact on overall health of an individual. Recent developments in nanomaterials and nanotechnology have provided a promising insight into the commercial applications of nanomaterials in the management of periodontal diseases.
