Promoting Transfer of Training to Job Environment by Designing a Training Program: Field Research on Sample Trainees from the Offices of Inspectors General (OIGs)

Abstract
The objective of this research is to determine howtransfer of trainingto business environment can be improved through designing training programs. The research sampling included 249 trainees working in the offices of inspectors-general in 10 Iraqi ministries, who participated in the training programs organized by the consulting bureau of the college of administration and economics/university of Baghdad. A questionnaire is used to collect data and information fromthe sampling and interviews are conducted with some officials in the inspectorates general to explore their assessment of this process. Also, SPSS-V19 is applied to test the research hypothesis and to answer the questions relating to the research problem by means of using a number of statistical approaches, percentages, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, variance coefficient, Spearman Rank Coefficient, simple regression coefficient, determination coefficient R2, t test and f test. Among the most important results obtained, there is the design of training, which plays a major role in promoting transfer of training to the inspectors general offices.
