. Financial mathematics is an emerging discipline, which is the cross of finance and mathematics. This article described the basic concepts of financial mathematics and the history of its development briefly, and focused on the theoretical framework of financial mathematics and the application of mathematical modeling in finance. On the basis, this paper analyzed the problems that currently exist in this area, and the future prospects of financial mathematics.
