Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of Nove fused 4-(3H) Quinazolinone Derivatives

New antimicrobial compounds are of major importance because of growing problem of bacteria resistance and antimicrobial quinazoline have been gaining a lot of interest. Quinazolin-4 (3H)-ones were synthesized and evaluated for antimicrobial activity against Gram positive and Gram negative microorganisms. Some of these derivatives exhibit better activity against Gram positive bacteria.
