Abstract

The basic aim of this present study is to identify and focuses on the development of critical thinking in the students of Target Language of 2nd Language or Foreign Language by using Intertextuality in teaching language. The populations of this study were students of Punjab Group of Colleges, Pattoki, as well as teachers from the same college. The researchers have used questionnaire and observations. The analysis of findings has brought about the conclusion that, the groups, taught with the help of Intertextuality showed better results instead of oral and orthodox ways. The present research will be helpful for developing creative and critical thinking in the students and also provide awareness of cultural and social aspects.
