A Survey on Lane Departure Warning System

This paper proposes a B-Snake based lane detection and tracking algorithm. The B-Snake based lane model describes a wider range of lane structures since B-Spline can form any arbitrary shape by a set of control points. Knowing and using the perspective parallel lines, the problems of detecting both sides of lane borders with the problem of detecting the mid-line of the lane are combined together.
