FITNESS-APPROACH FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY

Abstract

Relevance. The authors note that the problem of rehabilitation of movement disorders is extremely in demand. Considering that there is an increase in the number of children with cerebral palsy in the world, the authors study the literature data on the use of the fitness technique in this category of patients. The source of information was the work, mainly of domestic factors. Various fitness options were described. Along with special directed physical exercises, fitness includes complexes of physical exercises with objects that expand the manual motor capabilities of people with the consequences of cerebral palsy. Research results and discussion. The authors' own experience consists in assessing the effectiveness of various fit ball gymnastics techniques in the complex rehabilitation of children with spastic cerebral palsy in a specialized center. Consider a study that was conducted on the basis of the state budgetary institution of the Republic of Crimea "Rehabilitation center for children and adolescents with disabilities." Based on the results of the above study, it can be noted that three-week rehabilitation using various methods of fitball gymnastics in children with cerebral palsy led to the following: decreased muscle tone indicators, increased passive mobility in the affected joints, increased strength abilities, improved balance. Conclusion. The results of the using fitness in patients with cerebral palsy include, the problem of teaching, upbringing and socialization of children with cerebral palsy is closely related to the plane of education, the search for effective methods for the development of the motor sphere, the development of locomotor function and the increase in the level of development of physical qualities.
