Abstract

One of the pressing issues in modern reality is state support for the export activities of small and medium-sized businesses, since the subjects of this category are most vulnerable to changes in the market situation, at the same time, they, in turn, are capable of the most dynamic development in the economy. When we look at the practice of economic development in the world, we see that the national economic development of countries is possible through integration into the international trading system. Countries that adopt a closed model of economic development face serious challenges in ensuring sustainable national economic development. The reason for this is that these countries are excluded from the international trading system and do not use efficiently import-export operations. In connection with the exceptional importance of import and export operations in the development of national economies, the question of the advantageous position of countries in the international division of labor and the optimal use of the export potential of countries remains relevant. The purpose of the study is to identify the importance of increasing export activity in ensuring economic development, the main conditions for increasing the country's export potential, stimulating exports based on an assessment of the current state of export operations, and increasing the country's export potential, furthermore, improve the legal framework and make recommendations.
