Abstract

The process of forming a development strategy of industrial enterprises under uncertainty has been studied in the article. The relevance of the research stems from the fact that, despite the wide range of theoretical and practical developments in the field of strategic management, many questions of formation of the company's development strategy are quite debatable. The variety of viewpoints on the procedure comprising the formation of a strategy and on the very essence of strategy making strategic management relevant at all times and applicable in any area of social and economic activities. The aim of the article is to find a concept that lets you choose a corporate strategy adapted to a certain level of uncertainty. The theoretical and methodological framework is a set of scientific and special principles, methods and research techniques. Methodological bases of research is a systematic approach to the analysis of economic phenomena and processes, the fundamental provisions of the general economic management concept of economic development of industrial enterprises. With the help of structural-functional method it has been determined that the formation of the development strategy depends on the type of uncertainty. The definition of «formation of development strategy» and the essence of the concept of "enterprise development strategy" have been formulated in the article. During research the analysis of existing methodological approaches for the development of a rational process of formation the company's development strategy has been conducted, and it has been examined whether they provide efficient implementation of the strategy. Moreover various types of uncertainty have been analyzed in the article, for which strategic alternatives have been found and possible actions of the company have been formulated. In addition, the necessity of constant monitoring of trends in the external environment has been confirmed. The practical significance is the use of the classification of enterprise development strategies, depending on the type of uncertainty at industrial enterprises in the strategic planning process in order to reduce the level of risk in future periods.
