Peculiarities of competitiveness of modern teacher of primary school

Abstract

Ukraine's modern education is oriented towards European "dimensions". Due to this, socio-economic changes require a new education system. The dynamics of these changes contribute to the development of the labor market and the intensification of competition in it. The labor market objectively requires a person of comprehensive development, which would ensure the competitiveness of a specialist at the beginning of his professional activity, which guarantees his efficiency and self-realization. The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate the peculiarities of competitiveness of the modern elementary school teacher. The analysis of the essence of the basic concepts, taking into account the peculiarities of the teacher's competitiveness led to the definition of the key concept of the study. Competitiveness of elementary school teachers - is a multilevel integral personal education, characterized by a set of value orientations, personally and professionally significant qualities, basic knowledge, skills and skills and is designed for all spheres of life, including professional and pedagogical competitiveness in the field of professional activity for the purpose of creative self - realization in educational process of the ZZSO. Analyzing the psychological and pedagogical literature on the problem of research, we have identified aspects of pedagogical activity, the formation of which can determine the level of competitiveness of modern elementary school teachers, namely: pedagogical aspect - selection and implementation of different forms by the teacher, methods and means of training for the transfer of the content of the educational material; psychological aspect - the teacher as a person influences the participants of the educational process, taking into account the individual and age characteristics of students, creates motives of conscious attitude to learning; managerial aspect - the teacher must in particular plan, organize, control and regulate the process of interaction with students in different activities. The authors have identified the structural components of the competitiveness of future teachers cognitive-apprehension, motivational-value, effective-operational and their content filling. Summarizing the above, we emphasize that a competitive elementary school teacher must possess such qualities that meet the integration criteria: pedagogical skills; communicative art; possession of new pedagogical technologies; innovative pedagogical activity; creative search for new approaches to the education and upbringing of students.
