Problem and purpose. The article presents a study on the problem of organizing social and cultural activities in a university. The purpose of the article is to determine the role of the organization and socio-cultural activities of students with experience in counselor activities. Methodology. The research is carried out on the basis of methodological research by R. A. Litvak, E. N. So- rochinskaya, methodological approaches of Levanova E. A., Vladimirova T. N., Leskonog N. Yu., Shalamova L. F; analysis and generalization of scientific and theoretical sources. Results. In the course of the study, modern sources on the problem of organizing social and cultural activities, its methods, forms and technologies. As part of our research, we came to the conclusion that the system of measures for the training and support of counselors has a significant role in organizing the socio-cultural activities of stu- dents; allows you to accept the values associated with educational activities, and subsequently transform them into the integration of personal and professional skills. The professional meanings and values associated with the organization of social and cultural activities, mastered by students with experience in counseling activities, fu- ture teachers, serve as the basis for further sustainable motivation for teaching professions. The article presents the content of the theoretical aspect of the organization of socio-cultural activities. The results of the study con- firm that the sociocultural activity of the university through the analysis of activities proves the possibility of organizing a system of work to support the socio-cultural activities of students, which in turn is a necessary link in the integration of the individual and society, since it is in this synthetic sphere that an active life position of a person is formed. , the skills of mastering the socio-cultural environment and regulation of behavior in a chang- ing socio-cultural environment, which in turn largely determines the need for students to gain experience of suc- cessful socio-pedagogical adaptation during their studies at a university. Conclusion. The effectiveness of the considered activities is confirmed by the annual increase in students inter- ested in counseling activities.
