FORECASTING FUNCTION OF THE HEAD OF AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION IN THE CONTEXT OF MODERN EDUCATIONAL REFORMS

The article highlights the results of research on the theoretical foundations and practice of forecasting as one of the functions of management. The author focuses on the role of the forecasting function in managing the development of educational institutions in the context of reforming the educational system of Ukraine and global challenges. The effectiveness of educational reforms depends on the ability of heads of educational institutions to anticipate the consequences and results of changes in the educational environment and the organization of learning. An important task of Ukrainian education is to prepare the heads of the educational institutions to carry out management activities in conditions of change.
