Abstract

A successful person in today's world must have a good knowledge of information in order to make the best use of it in their work. This is facilitated by well-developed communicative competence - the ability of an individual to apply language knowledge in specific communication, ways of interacting with surrounding and distant people and events, group work skills, possession of various social roles. The fundamental (main) puzzle in creating a holistic picture of this competence is the ability to listen and understand what is being said - auditory skills. The purpose of the article is the analyse the practical aspects of the use of listening as one of the most important factors in the development of communicative competence of primary school students.
