PECULIARITIES OF DEFINITION OF THE CREATION FOR CARRIAGE OF THE RELAXATION SEARCH

The article deals with the issues of organizing and conducting search by a relay method. It is noted that the idea of conducting a search by a relay method arose during one of the research raids conducted in the mountain-wooded area where at one of the stages a significant reduction of the capabilities of the reconnaissance and search group for conducting the search was revealed. There was a pivotal decline in the combat capabilities of the group, in the first place - special, which ruled out the ability to continue effective search. Restoration of combat capabilities of the personnel took a long time. Based on the above, it was determined that under the given conditions, in order to achieve the purpose of reconnaissance search actions, it is necessary to maintain a high rate of search by updating (replacing) the personnel – «relaying». Subsequently, it was found that a relay search, as a method of reconnaissance search actions, made it possible to search in an unlocked area, first of all, in difficult terrain (mountain-forest), with high rates and involving of a small number of units to its management and, however, at the same time, involves significant power imputs of personnel. It is shown that during relay search, due to the introduction of «fresh» teams, in addition to maintaining high search intensity, it is possible to provide (calculate) the desired advantage of the special capabilities of its unit over the enemy. The methods of determination of personnel capabilities in relation to the execution of search tasks are given, questions are being formulated regarding the definition of their threshold values. The approach to determining the concept for a relay search is proposed. It is determined that the basis for the idea of a relay search should be the calculation of the number of relay, the definition of the boundaries of their transfer and the composition of relay teams. It is suggested, when forming an idea for a relay search to use the construction on the topographic map of isolines of equal (identical) physical activity, in essence – possible sections of routes that connect the potential boundaries of the relaying.
