German state system for support of talented youth: intercultural aspect

Abstract

The educational system in the time range of globalization gets significant changes. Its driving force is the actualization of talent that provides support for individual creative abilities, ability to succeed in today's innovation society. Germany has a long history and a strong tradition in the field of training of young people entrusted with the task of creating a future for the entire European space, as Germany has a significant position in the European Union. But despite the fact that Germany is an example of successfully functioning system that supports talented persons at the state level and the private sector, there are still contemporary problems to overcome cultural, social and economic contradictions between western and eastern lands, as well as the integration of children and young people from migrant and bilingual families. At the end of the twentieth century German scientists call attention to the need to provide children from migrant families with special educational conditions for cultural integration into German society. The article reveals peculiarities of state system for support of talented youth from the standpoint of intercultural pedagogy; in particular, it calls attention to the need for multicultural psychological and pedagogical training of teachers and social workers, as well as various areas of talented children from families of migrants.
