The article describes the basic requirements for the training of international medical students in oral professional communication. Communicative competence of medical students is expressed in the ability to conduct a professional dialogue ?doctor ? patient? to produce a self-prepared monological speech, to prepare a report about the patient, to discuss symptoms, to give recommendations to the patient.
