Introduction. The article examines the essence of education in the dynamics of the development of information and digital reality, which opens up huge opportunities for access to knowledge and technological resources. Today, education is considered as a leading social institution that involves the state, science, church, business in solving actual problems. Therefore, education is the most important structure of social life. The need to take into account the productivity of education as a personal «capital» of a person, who makes the progress of society and solves its contradictions is emphasized. The importance of education is to provide an understanding of the processes taking place in the world, which provides an opportunity to determine the place of man in the socio-cultural environment, which is a means of realizing subject-object relations. Understanding is always intersubjective, embraces the process of empathy, identifying with others, requires openness, attention and tolerant attitude. The purpose of the article is to reveal the prospects for the development of the educational process in the dynamics of the modern information world. Methods. The method of comparative studies, system-functional approach, analysis of scientific research and publications. Results. The semantic dimensions of education in the socio-cultural priorities of technogenic civilization are considered, the use of socio-philosophical approach made it possible to identify the meanings of modern education in the contexts of utilitarian and moral, axiological and praxeological in the genesis of educational theory and cognitive practice. The combination of methods of philosophy of science, phenomenology, and philosophy of education, synergetic allowed revealing education as a process of intellectual, spiritual and rational-practical energy. Originality. The question of the peculiarities of modern education and the main prospects of its further productive progress are considered. Prospects for the development of the educational process in the dynamics of the modern information world are revealed. The conceptual vectors of new parameters of education, which determine the formation of a modern socially responsible subject of life, have been determined. The focus of modern education on critical thinking, communication, teamwork and creativity aims at studying to gain useful knowledge. Expanding the psychosocial sphere, useful knowledge forms an individual coherent with the existing technological reality of life. Conclusion. The achievements of modern civilization are based on the results of the development of science and education. The development of information and computer and other technologies does not eliminate, but strengthens the role of knowledge and institutions for their dissemination. Education institute is intended to fulfill an integrative mission to implement innovations in all spheres of social life, carries out a complex process of interpersonal interaction in the world of information and knowledge. The dynamics of modern civilization development focuses on the development of «useful» knowledge, which is the basis of social progress. The productivity of «useful» knowledge is due to its interaction with the humanities. This fact should be the basis for a system of education and upbringing, focused on understanding modern life.
