Abstract
Working capital serves as a metric for how efficiently companies is operating and how financially stable it is in the short term. The study covers three Indian Aluminium Companies and the three selected Indian Aluminium companies are BALCO (Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd.), HINDALCO (Hindustan Aluminum Corporation), and NALCO (National Aluminium Company Limited). The top three large companies included in BSE SENSEX are selected based on their market capitalization. The study is based entirely on secondary data. The study covered a period of five years starting from 2015?2016 to 2019?2020. In this study, various ratios are used to measure the working capital management and profitability of the corporation. The data has been analyzed through appropriate statistical tools such as arithmetic mean and standard deviation and hypotheses are tested with the help of ANOVA. Further, to establish relationships between liquidity and profitability ratio, correlation analysis has been used.
