PREPARATION OF THE CHOIR PERFORMANCE IN THE MODERN REALITIES OF UKRAINIAN EDUCATION

Introduction. Modern conditions in the music art create new demands on the training of the choristers, accompanist and conductor of this choir, as well as sound engineer. Accordingly, various aspects of the preparation of the choir's performance in the modern realities of Ukrainian education is one of the most relevant areas in the field of music art in general and music pedagogy in particular. Purpose. The aim of the article is to specify the components of the choir's stage performance and the main directions of the conductor and sound engineer activities at each stage and highlight the author's methodological conducting and sound engineering work used in the preparation of the choir performance. Methods. The system-analytical and art historical methods were used. Originality. The paper describes the specification of the role of conductor and sound director in preparation for the performance of the choir in modern conditions. Results. The article clarifies the components of the choir's stage performance, identifies the main areas of work of the conductor and sound engineer at each stage of the choir's performance. Obstacles that arise in the process of preparing the performance of the choir and ways to overcome them are summarized in the article. Also in the article the peculiarities of sound directing of choir in the conditions of stage performance are characterized and methodical recommendations on preparation of performance of choir in the conditions of system of education in Ukraine are offered. The article also contains a description of the author's techniques used by the conductor and sound engineer in the process of preparing the performance of the choir. Conclusion. Preparation for the performance of the choir requires a combination of efforts of all participants in the creative process, a high level of coherence and contains interdependent stages. On the way to the stage performance, work with the team of conductor and sound director becomes important, each of which ensures the implementation of the performance concept of the choral song, respectively, by means of choral conducting and sound engineering. Preparation for the performance of the choir involves overcoming shortcomings in choral performance and obstacles, but systematic work ultimately allows you to create a highly artistic choral interpretation of a song with the maximum realization of the artistic content invested in it by the composer, arranger, conductor and sound engineer.
