HISTORICAL FUNDAMENTALS OF PHONETICS IN THE TRAINING OF UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE TEACHERS

Abstract

Introduction. The implementation of historical approach during analyzing the theory development of phonetics from the origins of language and speech, the emergence of writing encourages rethinking and awareness of the construction regularities of communication process in its various forms. The evolution processes of the sound and graphic system of the ancient Egyptian language, confessional translated genres are relevant and little studied in phonetics teaching methods of future teachers-philologists. Purpose. The aim of the study is to substantiate the role and importance of the historical fundamentals of phonetics genesis during forming the professional competence of future Ukrainian Language and Literature Teachers based on the principle of historicism and development; to outline for future linguists indicative material on theories of the language origin and speech, names reflected in the evolution of phonetics and graphics of ancient Egyptian linguistics, translated confessional genres; to represent the methods of teaching the historical foundations of phonetics, to develop tasks aimed at forming the phonetic competence of future teachers. Methods. The following methods were used: theoretical - for study and analyze the linguistic sources, substantiate the views of researchers on the functioning of phonetic and graphic regularities of ancient Egyptian writing, graphic system of confessional translated old printed editions; historical- systemic, descriptive - to reveal the peculiarities of development of phonetic and ideographic writing of Egyptian linguistics and graphics in the old Ukrainian confessional translated genres; analysis and synthesis, generalization of diachronic phonetics foundations, observation of linguistic material - to select teaching methods the historical fundamentals of phonetics of future teachers-philologists. Results. Methods of teaching the historical fundamentals of phonetics are proposed. It is proved that the evolution of phonetics dates back to the origins of the birth of first mankind civilizations and aspects of its development became the basis of theories of the language, speech and naming origin. The paper presents a cognitive and developmental material on the historical fundamentals of phonetics at ancient Egyptian philology and confessional translated genres. It is found out that religious theory of the language, speech and naming origin is observed in ancient Egyptian linguistics. The transformation processes of ideograms (hieroglyphs) into phonograms among which there are three-sound, two-sound, and one-sound are presented in the article. The connection between ancient Egyptian philology and the Bible is substantiated. The article analyzes the peculiarities of phonetic and graphic foundations of the Peresopnytsia Gospel as a model of the Old Ukrainian language. Samples of exercises and tasks aimed at forming the phonetic competence of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature are given in the article. Originality. This study substantiates the expediency of studying, analyzing and introduction into modern phonetics teaching methods of future Ukrainian Language and Literature Teachers, the historical fundamentals of phonetics, developed in research of Egyptian philology, found in the Peresopnytsia Gospel. Methods of teaching the historical fundamentals of phonetics: motivating, organizing and conducting educational and cognitive activities of higher education; personality-oriented mastery of educational material; practical implementation of the acquired knowledge and skills are presented in the article. Conclusion. It is proved that historical philosophical, linguodidactical, confessional translated sources have a powerful scientific and methodological basis for the forming phonetic competence of future teachers Ukrainian Language and Literature Teachers. Substantiation of basic concepts of teaching phonetics future Ukrainian Literature Teachers requires further research.
