To the definition of the concept of "Relapse" and its types

This article analyzes the historical formation of the definition of recidivism, provides a comparative description of the changes in the concept, up to its complete eradication, and also provides a definition enshrined in the current Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, reflecting the types of recidivism defined by law and in the theoretical sphere, illustrating the problems of applying the provisions on recidivism in the framework of judicial and investigative practice.
