Abstract
Resource conservation technology under the present condition can help farmer in multifolds i.e., reducing water consumption, reducing fuel consumption, reducing resource material consumption of seed-fertilizer-pesticide and the last but not the least is reducing labour requirement .Using zero tillage technology and paddy drum seeder, water can be saved . After taking short duration variety of paddy ,vegetable cultivation has proved a good option in district Jaunpur, which falls under eastern plain zone. On farm trials by Krishi Vigyan Kendra were conducted in the farmers field and good results had been obtained to save the resources. On the other hand, cultivation of maize and pulses through raised bed planter had given appreciable response to farmers after the scientific trials had been conducted in their fields for past three years.
